What's a driver to do? These days, when we're being told that we should keep our hands at 4 and 8 on the steering wheel, the better not to incur all sorts of ugly injuries when the airbag deploys, the best way to wear a watch while driving may be my father's: on the inside of the wrist. Of course, if the airbag DOES deploy when the watch is there, the watch itself will be the first thing to incur all sorts of ugly injuries.
I've seen both, and in both cases it's because of the airbag: the idea in either case is to prevent the bag from blasting your hands and forearms into your face. But yes, the NTSB, when I just looked, says 9 and 3.
I vote it should be marketed as a ‘boss’ watch. As in: “I am so bored in this meeting, but my boss will never clock (har har) me checking the time on this awesome, boss watch.”

wait a minute I thought current guidelines were 9 and 3? Because of the airbag?

Although, going through life with a scar stamped on your face of your favorite watch is sort of ... something 😀

This is wonderfully groundbreaking work.
Hi,
When pocket calculators came out in Oz,the screen was LED the battery life was lower than the basic wage.
So I guess that’s why they had an on /off switch.
Here we drive (RH)with the left arm and the other with the elbow out the window.
BTW what’s an airbag?
